The stand that ended the propping-against-the-fruit-bowl era

For longer than I want to admit, our tablet's usual home while I cooked was propped against the fruit bowl, angled by trial and error until a recipe stayed readable, and knocked flat by the fruit bowl at least once a fortnight.
A small list of what a proper adjustable stand has changed, after a few months living on the kitchen counter:
- It holds the angle I set it to and doesn't drift lower over the course of an evening the way the fruit bowl arrangement always did.
- Folds flat enough to slide into a drawer, which matters on the days I want the counter clear.
- The base has a rubber grip that actually grips, even with flour on the counter underneath it.
- Wide enough for Kẹo's tablet and mine both, though not at the same time.
- The hinge has loosened slightly with use, and there's a small screw that tightens it back up, which I did once around month three.
- Nấm has started asking for "her stand" for her own picture books, propping them the same way she's watched me do with recipes.
It folds pocket-flat, which I didn't expect to use but do now, tucking it into a bag for the rare evening we eat somewhere that isn't our kitchen and I still want the recipe or the show propped up rather than balanced against a water glass.
The fruit bowl has gone back to just holding fruit. It seems relieved.
